What documents do I need to provide for my mortgage application?

If you are purchasing a property, the required documents are:

  1. Signed offer to purchase;
  2. MLS Listing;
  3. Three-month bank statements showing enough down payments;
  4. A void cheque;
  5. Two recent pay stubs and employment letters;
  6. Copy of ID.

If you are switching or refinancing your existing mortgage, the required documents are:

  1. Property tax bill;
  2. Existing mortgage statement;
  3. An employment letter and two recent pay stubs for each applicant;
  4. A void cheque;
  5. Registered charge/mortgage.
  6. Copy of ID. 

Certain documents may be waived/requested for certain types of mortgages. Please inquire for more information.
