What documents do I need to provide for my mortgage application?
If you are purchasing a property, the required documents are:
- Signed offer to purchase;
- MLS Listing;
- Three-month bank statements showing enough down payments;
- A void cheque;
- Two recent pay stubs and employment letters;
- Copy of ID.
If you are switching or refinancing your existing mortgage, the required documents are:
- Property tax bill;
- Existing mortgage statement;
- An employment letter and two recent pay stubs for each applicant;
- A void cheque;
- Registered charge/mortgage.
- Copy of ID.
